Field Vibration Analysis

Vibration Spectrum Analysis. Determines problems with bearings, rotor unbalance, electrical problems, misalignment, etc.

Complete Spectral, Phase and Modal Analysis is available.

System Analysis

System Audits and determination to actual operating conditions for pumps in the system. Using pressure probes and ultra-sonic flowmeters we can determine actual operating points for the pumps and propose solutions to correct non-optimum operation.

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Planning

Development of complete RCM plans helping clients to improve productivity, efficiency, availability and safety, while reducing costs and unplanned outages.

Performance Testing

Single or multiple point performance testing. Variable speed testing. This can be done using non-invasive flow metering devices, and without disconnecting the pump from its current system and power supply.

NPSHA Testing

Single or multiple point NPSHR testing. Often design, and as built piping bear little resemblance to each other. Accurate determination of NPSHA during operation can provide key data to troubleshoot poor MTBF pumps.

Equipment Inspection, Failure Analysis & Repair

Equipment inspection and failure analysis of failed components to determine the root cause of a pump failure. Often pumps are brought into the shop and the damaged components are replaced without a careful inspection of the damaged parts and analysis of the clearances. Analyzing the damaged parts in conjunction with other testing can often point the way to the root cause of the problems instead of repeatedly fixing mere symptoms of the real problem.

Installation Inspection

Review of pump installation and operation for compliance with the manufacturers and industry best practices. The user is provided with a certificate of passed inspection, or a detailed report of non-conformances for the installation.
