Advanced Hydraulic Design

Advanced CAE tools and a wealth of experience developed from participation in a multitude of designs allows us to quickly develop state of the art hydraulic components. Unlike many designs based on inlet and outlet conditions alone, our CAE tools allow us to determine the correct blade and flow passage shapes throughout the length of the passage. Accurate predictions of relative velocities, pressure recovery coefficients and blade loading allow us to greatly reduce the occurrence of performance robbing problems such as passage stall and flow separations.

In addition to improving the efficiency of the pump  detailed analysis of the flow into the eye of the impeller allows for more precise control of the fluid often resulting in units with improved NPSHR characteristics. Additional blade development such as blade lean or bowed blading are also used to improve pump performance characteristics and reduce pump noise.
